Sales Development Representative

Shift: 8-hour day shifts with no nights

Position Summary
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a critical role in driving our sales efforts by prospecting for new customers and setting appointments for our Business Development Representatives. This position requires a proactive and enthusiastic individual who is comfortable using various communication channels, including phone, social media, and email, as well as attending industry events to generate leads and build relationships with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect for new business opportunities through a combination of phone calls, social media outreach, email campaigns, and attending industry events.
- Identify and qualify potential customers based on their needs and our service offerings.
- Set appointments and schedule meetings for Business Development Representatives to further discuss potential partnerships and solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective lead generation strategies and campaigns.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments to effectively position our products and services to potential customers.
- Participate in regular training and development sessions to continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for prospecting and appointment-setting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in sales development, lead generation, or a similar role, preferably within the IT industry.
- Lead Generation: 1 year (Required)
- Sales: 1 Year (Required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential customers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools to track and manage prospecting activities.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to industry events and trade shows as needed.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing techniques.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and industry trends.
